Important Update to Payment Processing Policy
CARD PROCESSING FEE ADJUSTMENT
As part of our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality services and programs at the Madison Area YMCA, we want to update you on a change to our payment processing policy: a 2.75% processing fee is now added to all electronic transactions including credit and debit card payments. This adjustment will help us manage rising operational costs, including those associated with card processing fees, while ensuring we can continue delivering the valuable programs, services, and facilities you rely on, without compromising the quality of our staff.
An option to avoid this fee is to pay in person with check or cash, or by calling the Welcome Center to pay by electronic check. We will cover the processing fees that apply to these payment methods.
To avoid a processing fee, you may choose from the following payment options:
- Pay in Person with Check or Cash.
- Electronic Check (ACH) Payments: For recurring online payments, the first payment will include a processing fee, but subsequent charges will not.
- To avoid this initial processing fee, you can visit us in person or call to pay by check and set up your recurring payments. In this case, no processing fees will apply, as we will cover the cost. (
