MADISON, NJ – The Madison Area YMCA welcomes Kids Central Manager and Active Older Adult Social Event Coordinator Sarah Coto! Sarah comes to the Y with a strong background in youth development, dramatic arts, aquatics, and program management, and a passion for fun!

Previously, Sarah served as the Regional Coordinator at USA Sport Group, managing a staff of more than 60 individuals statewide and engaging with program participants. She has taught more than 250 students in both drama and aquatics, displaying her passion for these fields and youth development. Additionally, she has spent summers as a YMCA camp counselor in Central, New Jersey. Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with a minor in Communications from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Sarah is excited to bring this enthusiasm to the Y and Kids Central, Madison Area YMCA’s indoor modular playground for toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children, featuring Open Play and Babysitting.

“We are thrilled to have Sarah join our team of accomplished and driven Y staff, as she applies her experience to support youth development and active older adult programs in Kids Central,” said Member Services Director Cathy Landolfi.

“Play is an important aspect of a child’s growth and self-development,” said Coto. “And play is equally important to us as we age because it enhances mental agility, fosters social connections, and contributes significantly to overall well-being and quality of life. I look forward to continuing and creating Kids Central and Active Older Adults programs for our members to learn and explore.”
