Preschool Classes in the Performing Arts at the Madison Area YMCA

(Madison, NJ) – September 9, 2015 – Spots are still available in preschool-age performing arts classes, Creative Movement I and Pre Ballet, which begin next week. Members and non-members are welcome to enroll.

Creative Movement I for 2.5 to 3 year olds is offered from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Mondays. A great introduction to dance arts, this class gives children the opportunity to move in new ways while developing fine and gross motor skills in a thematic and loosely structured class. Participants must be reliably toilet trained.

Pre Ballet for 3 and 4 year olds is offered from 10:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Mondays. The class provides a wonderful way to introduce your little one to the fundamentals of classic ballet technique where they will begin their love of movement. Participants must be reliably toilet trained. Ballet shoes are required.

The Madison Area YMCA’s Performing Arts program provides wonderful experiences and opportunities for young children to express themselves creatively, learn skills and develop self-esteem in a fun and nurturing environment.
