Preschool Farmers at the Kirby Center of the Madison Area YMCA Plant, Harvest and Eat Their Own Vegetables

(Madison, NJ) July 12, 2016 –

Caption #1: Pre-K 4 farmers at the F.M. Kirby Children’s Center of the Madison Area YMCA grow and pick their own vegetables including broccoli, lettuce and spinach. The fresh veggies are incorporated into healthy dishes for the children to enjoy during cooking lessons in the classroom. Pre-K 4 lead teacher, Laura Cluff, holds the bowl of green bounty picked by Bobby Sullivan, 5, and Colin Waldron, 4, both from Madison.
