As a cause-driven charitable organization, the Y is dedicated to nurturing the potential of every child and teen, improving our community’s health and well-being and giving back by providing support to our neighbors. Everything the Y does is in service of making us better. For some people, these services may not be attainable because of cost. The Y makes sure that these services are available to everyone in the community, regardless of income.
Through the leadership of the staff appeal chairperson, staff appeal leaders, staff members at the Family Center, F.M. Kirby Children’s Center and Project Community Pride showed their generosity, dedication to the charitable mission of the Y and enthusiasm for those served by funds raised through the Y’s Annual Campaign. Staff Appeal Leaders included: Jill Corea, Cathy Landolfi, Nicole McLaughlin, Amy Reed and Jon Siegel.
The Annual Campaign raises awareness and funds for the Y’s financial assistance program that enables children and families, who work or reside within the Madison Area YMCA’s service area, to participate in Y programs and services regardless of their abilities to pay. Support is provided based upon demonstrated need. All donations remain local. The Annual Campaign also helps the Y broaden its reach into initiating enriching community wellness and health-enhancing programs
The Madison Area YMCA is a 501c3 cause-driven charitable organization that believes that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, should be enriched by the YMCA.
