Aaron Goodwin Joins the Madison Area YMCA as Associate Sports Director

(Madison, NJ) May 8, 2017 – The Madison Area YMCA is pleased to announce that Aaron Goodwin has joined its staff as associate sports director.

Mr. Goodwin graduated from Montclair State University with a bachelor’s degree in economics. Since 2012 he has held positions in New Jersey YMCAs as a youth sports instructor and Welcome Center associate while he earned his degree. Mr. Goodwin’s Y leadership path began as a Counselor in Training (CIT) and continued as a senior camp counselor at both West Essex and South Mountain YMCA. Growing up, he was a member of the South Mountain YMCA and participated in camps and sports classes in his formative years.

“I look forward to the new and exciting sports programs that Aaron will bring to our organization,” said Madison Area YMCA Performing Arts and Sports Director Kim Buccheri. “I’m excited that he has chosen the Madison Area YMCA as his home to continue his YMCA path and begin his professional career.”
