More than 100 Guests Attended the Madison Area YMCA’s First Holiday Hooplah

(Madison, NJ) December 19, 2017 More than 100 guests attended the Madison Area YMCA’s first Holiday Hooplah on December 16. Pictured with Santa and Mrs. Claus are Adrian Sherman and Lisa Matheson with their children: Ava Sherman, 8 months old, Ethan Sherman, 5, and Mia Sherman, 2. The family resides in Chatham.

The holiday event included festive holiday crafts, games, sweet holiday snacks and hot cocoa. Aaron the Elf led game-playing and the “Gymnastics Elves” had activities for little ones in the Gymnastics Center. Kids Central hosted an open play session. A family S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) building challenge also took place.

The Madison Area YMCA is a 501(c)(3) cause-driven charitable organization dedicated to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. All are welcome to be enriched by Y membership, programming, community wellness and health-enhancing programs, regardless of ability to pay.
