Winter Weather Didn’t Slow Down  the F.M. Kirby Children’s Center of the Madison Area YMCA

(Madison, NJ) – November 20, 2018– Winter weather didn’t slow down the F.M. Kirby Children’s Center of the Madison Area YMCA last week. The Kirby Center stayed open late Thursday night to care for and serve dinner to students whose parents were delayed because of the snow. The children stayed safe, warm and happy under the supervision of Kirby staff until they were reunited with their parents. The next day, kindergarten and school-age wraparound students enjoyed a full-day of programming and care at the Kirby Center while the local schools were closed. Kirby parent Leigh Spielvogel exclaimed, “Kirby and all the staff are amazing!! I’m incredibly grateful to you for the care and love you provide, even during the tough winter weather.”
