Madison Area YMCA to Offer CPR Classes on June 19 and June 27
(Madison, NJ) – June 7, 2019- Looking to become CPR certified? The Madison Area YMCA is offering two sessions of adult CPR classes for ages 12 and up on Wed., June 19, from 7:15-9:30 p.m. and Thurs., June 27, from 1-4 p.m. The fee is $75. Registration is required. Please register online or in person at the Welcome Center at least 3 days prior to the class.
This American Red Cross CPR and AED class helps prepare individuals to respond to cardiac arrest and choking. It is a blended Simulation Learning class that combines online learning with hands-on, in person instruction. Participants will learn how to react in an emergency.
The class is ideal for individuals who are not health care providers or professional rescuers but desire, or are required, to be certified in CPR and the use of an AED; Emergency response teams in business and industry; Adult residential care personnel; Teachers, parents and camp counselors.
