(Madison, NJ) August 16, 2019 – The 18th Annual Madison Area YMCA CharityBocce Invitational “Tournament to Wellness,” presented by Provident Bank, begins Monday, September 9, and continues through the middle of October.

Hosted by the Forum Club and the Toto family, the event will raise funds for the Madison Area YMCA’s Paths to Wellness programming that include LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, a 12-week no fee wellness program for cancer survivors and their families; Diabetes Prevention Program; Community Mental Health Initiative; Healthy Weight Loss; Enhance Fitness; One Step; Delay the Disease and Project Community Pride of the Madison Area YMCA. Last year, the event raised more than $32,000 for the Y’s Paths to Wellness Programs.

“Fall signals Bocce for a cause at the Y,” said Madison Area YMCA Associate Development Director Melissa DeSalvo. “We are looking forward to another season of fun that helps meet the health and wellness needs of our community. The funds raised at the tournament allows the Y to offer no-fee and reduced fee programs to all.”

The YMCA is actively recruiting teams and team/event sponsors now to join the fun and support the cause. Donations are also welcomed. Contact Associate Development Director Melissa DeSalvo at 973-822-9622 x2248 or mdesalvo@madisonymca.org.
