Chatham Borough Firefighters Come to the Madison Area YMCA to Commemorate 9/11

(Madison, NJ) September 11, 2019 – 



Chatham Borough firefighters Michael Sowell and Rob Kelly came to the Madison Area YMCA to climb 110 steps in full gear on Stairmasters for the FDIC 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb to commemorate 9/11. Firefighters pay tribute to FDNY firefighters by climbing the equivalent of the 110 stories of the twin towers at the World Trade Center complex. The climb symbolically completes the heroic journey that 343 firefighters took to save others.
