Caption: (L-R) Madison Area YMCA members Jane McMahon from Chatham and Elizabeth Ledoux from Florham Park enjoy Friday morning outdoor Cardio H.I.I.T. class with Y instructor Marilou Beard of Madison taking place at Bayley Ellard Field in Madison.
(Madison, NJ) July 10, 2020 - Join Us! Madison Area YMCA Outdoor classes are underway and members are enjoying the opportunity to exercise outdoors with their favorite instructors. Contact membership@madisonymca.org if you are ready to join the Y or reactivate a membership and get outdoors with us for these no-fee classes!
Classes take place in Madison on the Y’s Keep Street lawn and on local partnering fields. Online registration is required and is available on a rolling weekly basis.
Madison Area YMCA member Anne DeSalvo of Morristown shares, “When the Y had to close its doors in March, I was so pleased to learn they were offering virtual classes so I could work out from home. Over the past three months I have tried new group exercise classes with various instructors, both virtually and now in-person outdoors. I have even been able to see some of my ‘Y friends’ again. As much as I miss being in the physical building right now, the availability of virtual and outdoor classes the Y is providing to stay healthy is terrific! It shows that the Y is so much more than a building. It is about the connections and sense of community.”
Search and register today for Cardio H.I.I.T., CXWORX, Yoga, Zumba and more by visiting www.madisonareaymca.org/summer-2020. For questions regarding classes and registration contact Group Exercise Coordinator Peggy Potter at PPotter@madisonymca.org.
As a mission-driven charitable organization, the Madison Area YMCA is dedicated to nurturing the potential of every child and teen and improving the community’s health and well-being and giving back by providing support to our neighbors.
